OCI Card

OCI Card

What is OCI Card?

OCI Card stands for Overseas Citizenship Of India Card. This card gives you several rights including the right to live and work in India for a long period or lifetime. You can get many benefits from OCI Card. OCI Card is similar to a visa but it gives you multiple benefits. With the help of this OCI Card, you can visit India as much as you want. The eligibility of this card depends on your origin.

OCI card is an immigration status that enables a foreign national of Indian ancestry to live and work in India permanently. The Government of India introduced this document to address all the needs of Indian nationals living abroad. Those wanting dual citizenship were granted access to this card option in 2005. However, India did not offer dual citizenship.
